Q. What should I bring with my pet for Boarding?
A. When your pet comes to stay at our Resort we ask you to bring whatever will make them more comfortable. We always recommend bringing their own food as well as a blanket or towel for them. Treats, Chews, Toys and any other items are also allowed. We make sure that they are given their items in their kennel so that they feel right at home. (Please limit the number of toys to a few.)
Q. What do you do in case of an emergency?
A. In case of a medical emergency with your dog we will first contact you or your vet and if they are not available we will contact our on-call veterinarian. If all else fails we will take them to the emergency animal clinic. (Depending on the severity of the emergency some steps may be skipped.)
Q. When can I drop off and pick up my pet for boarding?
A. You can drop your pet off anytime that we are open the day of the boarding and pick up anytime that we are open on the day that they are leaving. WE DO NOT have specified drop off and pick up hours. We are open on Sunday for pickups from 5:30pm - 7:00pm at no additional charge! Our weekly hours are Monday - Friday from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM and Saturday from 8:00 AM - 1:00 PM.

A. We require the following:

Q. What is Kennel Cough?
A. Kennel Cough is a upper respiratory virus that dogs may get when they come in contact with other dogs. Although Diggin' Inn Pet Resort does everything possible to keep from getting Kennel Cough there is no guarantee that it cannot happen. We require that all dogs be current on their bordatella vaccine every 6 months to help prevent infection but studies have shown that the vaccine is approximately 60 - 70% effective so infection is possible. Every Kennel and all dog areas are cleaned with a disinfectant to help reduce any possible contamination. If your dog shows any signs of an upper respiratory infection they will be taken to the vet for medical attention.
